EBHS/MC COLLEGE PATHWAYS
There are two pathways to earn college credits while attending EBHS.
Pathway 1: Dual Enrollment
Allows students to earn both college and high school credit for courses that they take at East Brunswick High School.
- Must be enrolled in an eligible course at EBHS and complete registration and payment.
- No limit on the number of credits a student can take.
- Cost is $135 per course.
- Students must earn a “C” or better in course for credit.

Pathway 2: High School Scholars
Allows students to take classes at Middlesex College to earn college credits. Students cannot earn high school credits:
- Must be 15 years of age or older
- Can take up to 8 college credits/semester at Middlesex College.
- Cost is available on the MC website

Benefits of High School Scholar and Dual Enrollment Programs
Cost: $135 per course - (over $1,000 savings/course compared to state colleges)
Course Transferability: The majority of courses can be transferred to other institutions. Confirm by visiting https://www.njtransfer.org/.
Flexibility: Students can choose their credit load, with some taking as few as three credits, while others take enough to earn their Associate Degree.
