Mr. Kyle Homer

Mr. Homer is honored to be a part of the EBHS Counseling team since joining the Bears in 2022. He earned his Bachelor’s in English and Digital Communications from Georgian Court University and holds a Master’s in Educational Counseling from Monmouth University. Mr. Homer is dedicated to creating an atmosphere of compassion, honesty, and vulnerability where each student and their families feel supported, seen, and heard. Mr. Homer understands that every student is different and deserves the support that will help them see themselves for everything they are, as well as everything they want to and can be.

Mr. Homer uses a student-centered approach to foster students' social, emotional, and academic development. His counseling philosophy is rooted in inclusion, equity, and social justice, with a focus on empowering every student to recognize their strengths, overcome barriers, and achieve success.

When Mr. Homer is not in the Counseling office, you can typically find him coaching and playing soccer, running, reading, listening to music, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends (plus his Shiba Inu, Kallie). Mr. Homer invites you to stop by the School Counseling office to say hello!
