Ms. Connor Cortina

Ms. Cortina earned her Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She began her career in education in 2016 as a middle school mathematics teacher. During her time in the classroom, she discovered a passion for supporting students on a more personal level, which inspired her to pursue a career in school counseling.

Ms. Cortina earned her master's degree in School Counseling from The College of New Jersey and joined East Brunswick High School as a school counselor in 2022. She strives to create a safe, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, seeking support, and advocating for themselves. Her goal is to help students develop confidence and problem-solving skills that will serve them well throughout high school and beyond.

Her favorite part of being a high school counselor is helping students discover and pursue their post-secondary goals. In addition to her counseling role, Ms. Cortina serves as one of the advisors for the National Honor Society.

Outside of school, Ms. Cortina enjoys spending time at the beach and making memories with her friends and family.
