About The PTSA
What is a PTSA?
The PTSA (Parent/Teacher/Student Association) is an active organization that helps to build a sense of community between all our types of members. It is our goal to assist the Staff and Student Organizations in any way possible to make the High School experience more enjoyable for all within our school community.
In order to organize all the events we are hoping to plan this upcoming year, we need the support of both the Parents and Teachers as well as the participation of the Students.
Please consider joining our PTSA. An Individual Membership is only $13 and Family Membership is $18. Click here for our Online Membership Form. Please note that you must make payment via Venmo or Zelle if you complete the Online Form.

Last Year: Our Board worked hard to provide the following:
- The Back to School Staff breakfast
- Senior Sunrise with bagel breakfast for the seniors
- We awarded the following Teacher's grant requests
- Environmental Science RC - Tower Garden Nutrients and Supplies Mrs. Gorman's class
- Mineral blend, rockwool cubes, net pots, seedling starter kit, pH kits for Mr. Goldstein's Environmental Science class
- Variety of gift cards to local spots as prizes for winners of the Volleyball tournament.
- Helped fund several Student Club/Organization and school events
- Breakfast foods for the Student Leadership Breakfast
- The NHS's Dunk Tank and Ice cream for the Relay for Life day
- Ice Cream for the Senior Class Decision Day
- Teacher Appreciation Week
- Sweet Monday
- Deli Luncheon
- Bagel Breakfast
- Cake for all
- Staff appreciation Raffle
- Funded several Senior Awards in the total amount of $2,200.00
- Funded several Underclassmen awards in the total amount of $500.00
- Provided a Free to Senior's Sunset Send Off event, which included:
- A DJ
- VR Roller Coaster
- Photobooth
- Food (Pizza and Subs) and Ice Cream Sundae Bar
Why Should I join the PTSA?
As a Parent:
- Helps us to provide better events, assemblies and support to our students and teachers.
- In order for your child to be eligible for the Underclassman or Senior Award, you must have a current Family Membership.
- Being a member also gives you a forum to ask questions and get answers pertaining to your students resources
As a Teacher:
- Must be an active member to apply for a teachers grant. See our Teacher's Grant Application under Grant Information
As a Student (Family Membership):
- Senior Award Scholarship. Submit a short essay for a chance to Win a $100 or more scholarship. Students' parent must have an active family membership to apply.
- Student organizations can also apply for grant support, but the leader of the organization must be a member of a household with a Family membership.
